After two months of intensive training in software development, the learners trained by IKOUĒ received, on Wednesday 27 November 2024, a visit from the CEOs of several internationally renowned companies as well as from the Office National de l’Informatique (ONI). Among the personalities present were:

  • Daniel Dengou : CEO (ONI)
  • Hervé Kogboma : CEO (BGFI-Bank)
  • Max Francisco : CEO (Orange Centrafrique)
  • Abel Azoupiou-Sourou : CEO (Burval Centrafrique)

These figures commended the initiative and encouraged the learners to persevere to the end of their journey, while reaffirming their support for the vision carried by IKOUĒ.

Purpose of the visit

This exchange aimed to discover the skills the learners had acquired during this free training, delivered by trainers from the diaspora and members of IKOUĒ. This training is part of the partnership between IKOUĒ and the ONI, through the IKOUĒ Academy programme.

Digital projects serving the country

The learners presented their work in progress, covering various digital projects focused on themes such as:

  • Health
  • Agriculture
  • Women’s networks
  • Education
  • Cultural heritage
  • Microcredit

They also expressed their gratitude to the promoters of IKOUĒ and their partners, in particular the Institut Pasteur de Bangui, the ONI and the Ministry of Finance and Budget, for their support.
