Training sessions resume
To enable us to deliver online training, the ideal would be to have a room equipped with computers and a high-speed internet connection (optical fiber).
Such a room should be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so that learners can progress regardless of their financial means.
Our goal was to have such conditions, thanks to partnerships, for the first quarter of 2024 before resuming the training sessions started in 2023. Although we have not yet reached this goal, we are convinced that its implementation, even partial, will come to fruition in the months ahead.
So as not to further delay our annual program, we are resuming our training this Saturday 23 March, under the same conditions as in 2023, at the Institut Pasteur de Bangui.
A look back at the IKOUĒ products and portal
The first goal of this training session is to have an interactive exchange with our learners, to look back on our first discussion panel of the year and to gather their views on the IKOUĒ site, the products, and the portal.
It is important for us to provide efficient tools in the context of the CAR. Collecting these views will help us improve the quality and accessibility of our products.
Start of the training curriculum

The IKOUĒ Academy training program is carefully designed to equip learners with the skills needed not only to excel in the national job market, but also to stand out in international remote positions.
With this in mind, the first training session of the year aims to lay the essential foundations for undertaking the 2024 curriculum, with a focus on a fundamental aspect of the software development world: teamwork. This initial focus is essential, because in the dynamic ecosystem of software development, working in concert with colleagues, sometimes scattered across the four corners of the globe, has become the norm.
The objective of this first module is to demystify the use of versioning and collaboration tools such as Git and GitHub.
These tools, crucial for any development project in 2024, make it easier to manage code changes and to work as a team, enabling efficient sharing and seamless collaboration on coding projects.
By mastering Git and GitHub, learners will be able to actively take part in collective projects, to contribute to open source software, and to manage their own development projects more efficiently. This is a major asset for any developer, opening the door to a multitude of career opportunities, including in the field of remote work, which is expanding rapidly and offers unprecedented flexibility.
Moreover, understanding and fluently using these tools allows learners to align with the international standards of software development, thus ensuring their competitiveness on the global market. This skill is now an unavoidable prerequisite for anyone aspiring to a successful career in software development, whether small-scale projects or large-scale collaborations involving multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
Through this training, IKOUĒ Academy commits to providing a solid foundation and to opening new horizons for its learners, thus preparing them to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the modern job market, while emphasizing the importance of collaboration and adaptability in a constantly evolving professional environment.
